I liked the scary ambiance in this game and the jump scares where fun. They were a little quick, so sometimes I wasn't sure what I saw 🙈
I was disappointed with the ending. Not only did the game end abruptly, it also gave me lore which hightened my expectations about the story. When those expectations weren't met, I felt cheated. I think this game is too short for the story you wanted to tell. I would love to see an extended edition and get to know more about the protagonist, the monster and why the protagonist is a target - and for what. I mean: why the backrooms? It feels so random.

That ending took me completely off guard, I did not expect that at all. I kind of missed the jumpscares though cause they were a bit too fast but other than that, it was pretty fun. Though I will admit I expected the sleep paralysis bit to last longer, which is part of why the ending was so unexpected. Overall, pretty fun though not necessarily scary, just creepy. Most humans have a natural affliction when it comes to darkness and the nights that bring it along with it. Despite all our senses, we're rather helpless when the shadows swallow up the light, and we can see very little.
This game squeezes hard on all those over-extended nerves, to pry away from hope and the need to escape. We become a victim of our own lack of a will to fight and get out of that room.
We do fall, but not into the night's arms.
I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.
